We hope that everyone is enjoying the recent spell of hot weather safely. No such luck for some of our Teams many volunteers who have carried on giving up their own time to go "on duty". Recently the Team and our members have been involved in -
Attending 2 x incidents in the Bracklin Falls/Scout pool area of Callander. Our crew were involved in a multi-agency rescue incident involving Scottish Ambulance Service, Police Scotland, HM Coastguard and Killin MRT
Training of our newest four legged recruits who are working hard to get on to the call out list.
One Team member alone assisted with 5 separate First Responder calls during the course of his shift.
But another crew did manage to enjoy the warm weather when they were out and about checking some of he many Public Access Defibrillators in the Trossachs, making sure that they remain operational in the event of an emergency.
And one of our Team members was off duty when he came across a male in difficulties in the water at Strathclyde Park. Our Team member quickly responded and , using a throw line, managed to save the person from drowning. Being in the right place at the right time in this case
