13th April 2021Did you know Cardiac Arrest can happen anytime, anywhere and can affect anyone from young athletes to the elderly.
Early defibrillation is the single most effective treatment. Defibrillation within 3 minutes of collapse can increase the chance of survival to over 70%. There is rarely any warning, and a victim of SCA usually collapses and stops breathing immediately. That’s when the clock starts ticking.
Knowing where your local public access defibrillator is can mean the difference between life and death.
