Trossachs Search and Rescue Team attended Glengoyne Distillery on Wednesday 5 April 2017 to deliver CPR and AED awareness classes to members of staff at the distillery.
"Many local businesses in our area have their own AEDs - Automated External Defibrillators, for the provision of help to staff and visitors in cardiac arrest. They also make them available to the general public locally, in the event of someone collapsing.
Glengoyne Distillery is one such local business who not only makes their defibrillator available 24/7 but has ensured almost every single member of staff has learned how to perform CPR and use an AED.
Most staff are local and so can also use our network of AEDs in local villages, should the need arise.
Well done Glengoyne Distillery - "at the heart of our community."
